Privacy notice
Draft: have this notice checked by counsel before the site goes online.
This notice explains what happens to personal data on gaprism.com, when you join the beta list and when you write to us through the contact form. Last updated: 6 November 2026.
Who is responsible
[Name and postal address of the person or company responsible] is responsible for this website, the beta list and the contact form. You can reach us through the contact form. The imprint has our address and an email address.
This website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, on its Cloudflare Workers service. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes what Cloudflare does with data.
The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It loads no fonts or images from other sites, and no scripts either, except on two pages: the sign-up page loads the form’s script from Brevo and a bot check from Cloudflare, and the contact page loads the same bot check. Loading a script from another site tells that site your IP address and browser details. The only personal data we collect is what you give us: your email address if you join the beta list, and your name, email address and message if you write to us through the contact form.
The beta list
If you join the beta list we use your email address to send you the beta invitation, and for nothing else. We don’t sell it. Joining takes two steps: you tick the box and send the form, then you confirm through the link we email you.
- Legal basis. Your consent, which you give by ticking the box and by confirming through that link (double opt-in). You can withdraw it at any time.
- Email service. The list is kept by Brevo, which processes it on our behalf. When you send the form, your browser sends your address to Brevo’s servers. Brevo’s privacy policy describes what Brevo does with data.
- Bot check. The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from programs, so that nobody can fill the list with other people’s addresses. It runs in your browser while the sign-up page is open. The legal basis is our interest in keeping automated sign-ups out. Cloudflare’s privacy policy describes what Cloudflare does with data.
- Leaving the list. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Use it to leave the list.
The contact form
If you write to us through the contact form we use your name (if you give one), your email address and your message to answer you, and for nothing else. We don’t sell them.
- Legal basis. Our interest in answering the people who write to us.
- How it travels. Your browser sends the form to this website. A small program there, run by Cloudflare, checks the bot check and passes your message to our mailbox through Brevo, which sends it for us. The website keeps no copy.
- Contact list. We also add your name and email address to a list in Brevo of people who have written to us, so that we can find the conversation again. It is separate from the beta list, and we send it no newsletters.
- Bot check. The contact form uses the same Cloudflare Turnstile check as the sign-up form, to keep automated messages out. The legal basis is our interest in doing so.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for its correction or deletion, for its use to be restricted and for a copy you can take elsewhere, and you can object to its use. If you think your data is handled unlawfully, you can complain to a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, in the EU the authority of your country.
